On November 11, 2023, at the Triumph Hotel, the names of the winners of the Excellence Scholarship in Social Sciences for its first session were announced in the name of Professor Dr. Saad El-Din Ibrahim, announced on March 16, 2023.
The first winner is Professor Mohamed Gamal Ali, a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. The title of his doctoral thesis is: The relationship between religion and the state in Egypt and Tunisia, a comparative study of the impact of the interaction between political and religious elites 2011-2022.
The second winner is Professor Yasmine Hussein Gomaa, a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. The title of her doctoral thesis is: Silent networks between political marginalization and active participation in Egyptian society, a sociological analysis and a prospective study.
