The Egyptian Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences
The Egyptian Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences has been published since April 2020 by the Tawasul Foundation for Studies and Cultural Awareness in cooperation with the Egyptian Center for Research and Training ( ERTC ). In order to spread the idea behind its establishment to academics, researchers, and intellectuals interested in public affairs in the field of social and behavioral sciences, as well as those involved in social policy.
The Egyptian Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences is a semi-annual refereed scientific journal, internationally numbered ” Print: ISSN: 2682-2725 Online: ISSN: 2745-333X”, and registered within the promotion lists of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. The magazine aims to provide the reader with scientific material that helps to form and develop him in his field of specialization and to be familiar with research tools and modern methodological methods used in the study of contemporary social reality. The journal is interested in publishing scientific content in the following fields of science in all its branches:
- Sociology
- Anthropology
- Economics and Political Science
- Media
- psychology
The journal contains four chapters:-
The first chapter, “Research Notes Example“, provides an opportunity for exchanging views on societal issues, as news and summaries of the results of field and theoretical studies are presented and commented on a regular basis.
As for the second chapter, “Research papers”, a number of reference articles and theoretical and field research fall under it. The magazine has devoted a section to “Book Review” in order for the reader to get acquainted with the most prominent books published in the aforementioned fields, at the local and international levels. Out of the magazine’s interest in communicating between the generation of pioneers in these sciences and the younger generations, the “Generational Dialogue” section was established. At the end of each issue, the magazine presents advertisements for some newly issued books.
The publication of the journal is supervised by a group of Egyptian, Arab and international university professors in various disciplines, and all research and studies published in the journal are subject to arbitration by specialists with research experience and distinguished scientific standing in the field of specialization.
